Thousands of real estate professionals met in San Francisco this week at one of the real estate industry’s biggest events, Inman Connect. Real estate agents, brokerages, and tech companies from across the country get together annually at Inman conferences to talk about the industry’s most important needs and provide insights into what the future will look like.

At this year’s Inman Connect, Qualia CEO Nate Baker spoke on the panel “Helping Your Clients Through the Transaction”. Nate joined Michael Treon, Senior Mortgage Loan Officer from PNC Bank, and Wendy Forsythe, Chief Operations Officer of HomeSmart International, to discuss how three of the core service professionals in a transaction (Title Agent, Real Estate Agent, Lender) can continue to improve the buyer’s and seller’s experiences. Treon and his PNC San Francisco team are the largest producing purchase group for PNC in the country.

Before a standing room only crowd, Nate emphasized the importance of title companies in creating an exceptional client experience for all buyers and sellers. There was clear agreement in the need for lenders and real estate agents to work with top title companies to make sure the complete client experience is best in class. As Treon framed it, “Title is the bow that gets tied on the package. You need to get it right or the experience just won’t be exceptional.”

Nearly 40% of home buyers rank understanding the closing process and the related paperwork as the top struggle with the closing process. Recent advancements in technology have helped streamline the process to make it quicker and more transparent. By leveraging this technology, the team of service professionals can provide the exceptional experience that clients are looking for when making one of the biggest purchases of their lives.
